What are Nakshatra Padas?

Why does the Nakshatra lord matter?
The ruler links a Nakshatra to a planet and is especially relevant to Vimshottari Dasha. The Moon's birth Nakshatra helps establish the starting planetary period, while the exact balance depends on the Moon's progress through that Nakshatra. See Mahadasha and Antardasha.
Nakshatra in marriage and relationships
Nakshatras form part of traditional compatibility methods, but a relationship should not be accepted or rejected from one star or score. Can Nakshatra show career?
